Phillip Dennis, MD PhD
Dr Dennis is the Vice President Oncology, Lung Cancer at Sanofi Oncology Development, and Adjunct Professor of Oncology and Pharmacology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He was previously Vice President and Head of Disease Strategy Head of Lung Cancer at AstraZeneca, Director of the Center of Excellence in Thoracic Oncology at Johns Hopkins, and the Director of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins Bayview. Prior to these roles, he was a Senior Investigator at the US National Cancer Institute, where his research focused on the role of the PTEN/PI3K/Akt pathway in cancer and the development of therapies for cancers and those who live with PHTS. He is an elected member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation.
